Do you have all these desires, hopes and dreams and aspirations but still feeling, stagnant, lost, confused, taking major setbacks, losses and is without much direction? Well in order for change to happen you have to get clear on your vision, learn to say no to the things that distract you or have nothing to do with what you are trying to accomplish or execute pertaining to your goals for your personal or professional transformation to happen.
Most time we feel we are not getting anywhere because we can’t see the tangible or the direct impact as soon as we would like to see manifest. We have to keep reminding ourselves we have to do the small stuff and go through the process in order to clear the road and get the the green light for our vehicle to go and bigger blessings to come. Sometimes it’s not a very comfortable task or situation to be in during the meantime and in between time but it’s very necessary to accomplish what you set out to do in life. It’s the middle were we always tend to become complacent, anxious, frustrated, depressed or stuck in a rut. However, you have to be willing and able to push forward and be consistent with your daily discipline and focus on being productive in the task at hand not allowing anything or anyone to break your determination. Keeping faith!
We all know it’s easier said then done, At the beginning of each new year we always set out with good intentions to eat healthy, exercise, budget, get out of debit, build our credit, committ to going to church more often, taking on a community projects, joining a book club/support group, spending more time building healthy relationships with friends. Dedicating more time to family. Working on our own professional development, going back to school or picking up extra work hours, buying a new home, starting a business, learning a new skills, developing new habits in our own lives and focusing more on self. Well all of this came become overwhelming as the year goes on and when you don’t have a solid plan of action, some accountability, or you doing it and get sidetracked or stuck.
Because Yes, there will be will be times when you don’t feel like it, you are to tired, you had a long day, have another priority or engagements that take presidency. Something may come up unexpectedly or you may just feel like a break or vacation is well needed or even well deserved and it throws you way off track and you find it difficult to get things back together or in order. Understand it is okay to take a break but just don’t quit and don’t forget about your date with destiny and how good it is going to feel when you accomplish those goals and how it is going to change your life and those lives you impact around you everyday. Even when you get clear on your goals and is at the point of execution and find yourself in a position where you feel like you are doing all you can with what you have don’t stop! Please understand you can still be educating yourself spiritually and mentally. You can be taking care of your physical body and health by working out and eating healthy. You can always be reading and educating yourself on whatever it is you are trying to move toward in life or accomplish; the learning process never stops. Get inspired again! At the least keep yourself accountability by checking in daily and sharing with your accountability partner and getting excited for what is to eventually take place in your life and sharing in their life as well. Keep dreaming big and keep doing more. Your season is now!
Here are a couple of things to remember this year that will help you get closer to your goals and stay on track for 2019 or at least be a simple reminder that you are making headway in the unseen.
1. Remember it is absolutely okay to desire to dream big, be successful and have it all within God will but it’s going to take hard work, discipline, focus, persistence prayer, hope and faith.
2. Make goals but most importantly take action taking small action steps and being time specific
3. When your progress is slow, you feel you are losing momentum or feel stagnant it’s okay to switch gears and keep working; remember some progress is better then no progress; just don’t ever quit. Keep going and do your best.
4. Give yourself room for error and credit during improvement; don’t be so hard on yourself and quit; give yourself a pass there is always a learning curve or lessons tone learned and better habits to form along the way.
5. Measure your progress and celebrate your small wins in life because life brings about enough challenges and it’s are job to be champions and victorious in our pursuits.
6. Everything is a balancing act in life. Don’t be so focus on winning that you forget conditioning. You have to take care of you and fulfill those daily activities of living your best life in all areas to get better at improving your overall self. Self preservation is first and foremost.
Now get to planing and executing we are already into the first week of our New Year and breath! Tell yourself, You are progressing in the right direction even when you can’t see or feel the tangible in your results. Remember small steps equal big results. You have to continue to be patient with yourself in achieving your goals and manifesting your dreams. Continue on your journey with hope, faith, trust, increased wisdom, knowledge and direction. You have to learn to be patient with yourself and celebrate the small milestones. Breakdown your goals into small action steps and complete one big task or two small task at a time and then repeat the cycles. In conclusion and this is key, Never wait for someone else to give you the approval or validation your are seeking to go out and make things happen you have to take full responsibility for your self and what it is you seek to happen and eventually with preparation, execution and time you will eventually see results. Not everyone will see your vision or live your dreams with you.
